Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-09
This site is intentionally simple. There are no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, no cookies set by this site, and no newsletter or sign-up forms. The sections below describe what little data is processed and why.
Data controller
The data controller for any personal data processed in connection with this site is Tomasz Burak, reachable at tomasz.burak@rollbackdb.com.
What data is processed
- → Server logs - the site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log standard request metadata (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) for operational and security purposes. This is governed by GitHub's privacy statement. I do not have direct access to those logs.
- → Email correspondence - when you email me using the contact details on this site, I receive your message, your email address, and any details you choose to send. I keep this correspondence for as long as it is useful for the engagement (typically the project duration plus 6 years for tax / accounting compliance under Polish law).
- → Phone calls / messages - if you call or text me, your phone number and any voicemail / message content is stored on my device / carrier in the normal way. I do not record calls.
What is not collected
- → No analytics, no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no self-hosted analytics.
- → No tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no fingerprinting.
- → No cookies set by this site. (Your browser may still send cookies set by third parties if you click external links - those are governed by the destination site's policy.)
- → No newsletter, no sign-up forms, no auto-replies.
Your rights (GDPR / RODO)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR" / "RODO") and Polish data protection law, you have the right to:
- → Access the personal data I hold about you.
- → Request correction of inaccurate data.
- → Request deletion ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations.
- → Restrict or object to processing.
- → Receive your data in a portable format.
- → Lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (Prezes UODO, uodo.gov.pl).
To exercise any of these rights, email tomasz.burak@rollbackdb.com.
Legal basis for processing
Email correspondence is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR - responding to enquiries) or, where you become a client, contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR - accounting / tax records).
